WhatsApp previously allowed users to exchange status updates from other devices.
The instant messaging app, on the other hand, is now lifting the previous restriction from companion devices that did not allow users to post status updates from secondary phones.
This new upgrade, however, has now been extended to WhatsApp online, which may now share status updates via the web client.
