Bollywood A-lister Shahid Kapoor has accused humanity of causing the problem with the recent increase in celebrities falling victim to the evil of deepfakes,
where their altered videos and photographs become popular on social media.
In a recent promotional event for Teri Baat Main Esa Uljha Jaya, where he co-stars with Kriti Sanon, Shahid Kapoor discussed the film’s exploration of artificial intelligence (AI) and its ‘impossible love story’ plot.
Jhanvi Kapoor, Rashmika Mandana, Alia Bhatt, and Katrina Kaif from Bollywood also spoke on the increase in AI-generated and deep fake videos, and Kapoor accused humans of exploiting machine learning.
“Man is the problem. This is what he did in public. Actor “Kabir Singh” claimed, “We are blaming AI.”
He went on to say, “We’re used to not living in reality. We constantly project another world onto social media and contrast it with what we see there, which ultimately results in despair.
We’re indeed searching for a different reality. AI is that, and it’s as fundamental as a relationship.
“Man-made and God-made are not the same things. The film Teri Baat Mein Isa Alja Jaya has a mild look at it,” Kapoor said.
Sharing his thoughts on the subject, Sanon stated, “It is relevant and has taken many shapes.
Still, we’re going very quickly, as seen by the arrival of AI-powered news anchors.
It is therefore possible to have an AI partner in the upcoming years.
Aryan [Kapoor], a roboticist, meets Safra [Sunon], a robot with human features, and the two fall in love in the next fantasy romance film.
On February 9, “Teri Baat Mein” will be released in theatres.
