The superstar appeared as a guest on a recent episode of the podcast Smartless, which is hosted by Will Arnett, Jason Bateman, and Sean Hayes, friends of the stars.
According to her, music is no longer a priority when she considers her future goals and areas of concentration in her profession, which encompasses a wide range of entertainment-related industries.
“I feel like I have one more album,” Gomez said in the conversation, clarifying that she is only considering releasing one more full-length record before completing it.

“I started having a lot of fun with music, and then touring was fun,” Gomez told Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnett, the show’s hosts.
“But I was doing my TV show [Wizards of Waverly Place] at the same time and I enjoyed it, so I kept going.” “I’m just looking for something to settle on.”
She went on to say: “I think I have another album, but I’ll probably choose acting.” When the hosts praised her abilities and said she didn’t need to take another, she replied, “You’re right, but I’d like to chill because I’m tired.”
Gomez stated that she is thinking of putting music on hold during her Smartless appearance—not because she doesn’t enjoy it, but rather so she can concentrate on her acting career.
Gomez is a well-known TV producer and actress along with being a chart-topping pop singer. Her first Emmy nomination came from her role as the star of the popular Hulu series Only Murders in the Building. She is known for her versatility.
Gomez talked about her initial struggles in the profession, including her heavy workload. “I went to a mental institution and canceled one of my tours,” she stated.
“It just got to me because I like to work and it distracts me from the bad stuff.”
Gomez casually stated online this month that she is not just hard at work on her next album, but that she expects to release it in early 2024.

The pop singer was asked on Twitter when “sg3 is coming out,” a reference to his third solo album that has not yet been named. The star calmly replied, “In two months,” which came as a surprise to many.
