“Yes, I am still here. In a video statement released on Saturday morning, Poonam Pandey denied having cervical cancer and stated that the purpose of her fake death was to increase public awareness of the illness.
She went on, “Sadly, I am unable to say the same for the countless numbers of women who have lost their lives to cervical cancer.
Not because there was nothing they could have done. Rather, it was because they were at a loss on what action to take.
It is my mission to inform you that cervical cancer is avoidable, in contrast to other types of cancer.
To avoid contracting HPV, Pandey advised getting tested and receiving the vaccine.
Many social media users criticized Pandey for raising awareness of a fatal illness in this manner.
It should be mentioned that his management posted a bogus announcement of his death on social media on Friday.
“We are having a hard morning. To notify you that our dear Poonam passed away from cervical cancer makes us very sad. She treated every living thing that came into contact with her with nothing but love and kindness.
A message on his official Instagram profile said, “We would like privacy during this time of loss and remember him with love for our shared memories.”
