Kim Kardashian, the reality TV star, lost over 100,000 followers and counting after appearing on a song by Taylor Swift from her most recent album, The Tortured Poets Department.
The number of followers on Kardashian’s Instagram account increased to 364.3 million last month, not long after Swift released her song “thank you aIMee,” which seems to be addressing her long-running rivalry with Kardashian, according to Page Six.
Fans took Taylor Swift’s comments about being a “bronzed, spray-tanned” high school bully as a swipe at the reality TV star, others quickly pointed out that most of the statements related to Kardashian.
Part of the song’s chorus goes, “All this time you were ‘throwing punches, I was making’ something’ / And I can’t forgive the way you made me feel.”
Kim Kardashian, however, has not yet responded to the widely shared diss track that has captured her social media audience.
When Kardashian’s ex-husband Kanye West criticized the singer in one of his songs and claimed that she made him famous in 2016, conflicts started to arise.
After Swift’s criticism, Kardashian asserted that she had Swift’s consent.
Kardashian remarked, “She knew this was coming,” about West adhering to “proper protocol” before release. “She suddenly wanted to act like she didn’t.”
