A former “Bigg Boss” candidate has accused a friend of blackmail and rape in a case that has been filed against him.

A TV actor and female candidate from ‘Bigg Boss‘ season 11 reportedly filed a complaint against a friend on Wednesday, claiming that the friend had raped her at her South Delhi home, according to Indian news media.
In a First Information Report (FIR) submitted to the Tigris police station in New Delhi, the reality show competitor said that the crime occurred in an apartment on Deoli Road last year, in violation of Section 376 [rape] of the Indian Penal Code.
Her friends allegedly served her lunch at his house before spiking her drink and abusing her.
She also said that under the cover of marriage, her friend had blackmailed her.
“He drugged me during the meeting and then sexually assaulted me. He later pledged to wed me,” she remarked.
Authorities are reportedly searching for the accused as part of an ongoing investigation; however, no formal comment from the police has been made as of yet.
To preserve both the accused’s and the victim’s privacy, the two have kept their identities secret in between.
